Latino Chamber of Commerce:
Tu Empresa

Tu Empresa focuses on entrepreneurship within the Latino business community in Dane County. Partnering with Madison College, it was important to bring these two brands together. The logo must fit in with the Latino Chamber of Commerce's branding, while also showcasing how Madison College works to guide and connect members to helpful resources.

While developing concepts for this design, I explored typographic play with the word TU, imagery that could represent community, as well as the idea of local. Ultimately, the design I landed on encompassed all three. While not achieved through typography, the TU/YOU is represented by a figure with arms outstretched in the center circle. A play on the location pin icon symbolizes the local. Finally, by the connection of multiple location pins, (or multiple business partners and resources) we see community. In the development of this design, I also included icons that could represent various industries within the local business community. These further enrich the branding and give future designs more life and room to grow.
